Caribbean BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp Dunn’s River Caribbean Barbecue Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, BBQ seasoning, olive oil, and lime juice.
  2. Toss well to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight is even better).
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Arrange wings on a baking tray or grill rack and cook for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with extra lime wedges.

Caribbean BBQ Veggie Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 1 courgette (zucchini), cubed
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dunn’s River Caribbean Barbecue Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Toss vegetables and pineapple with oil and BBQ seasoning.
  2. Thread onto skewers alternately.
  3. Grill for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until slightly charred and cooked through.
  4. Serve as a side or with rice.

Caribbean BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1kg pork shoulder
  • 3 tbsp Dunn’s River Caribbean Barbecue Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions:

  1. Mix BBQ seasoning, sugar, and oil. Rub all over pork shoulder.
  2. Place pork in a slow cooker or covered roasting tin. Cook on low (in slow cooker for 8 hours, or oven at 160°C for 4–5 hours) until tender.
  3. Shred pork with forks, mix with BBQ sauce and a little extra seasoning if desired.
  4. Serve in buns or with rice and coleslaw.

Caribbean BBQ Tofu Steaks

Ingredients:

  • 400g firm tofu, cut into thick slices
  • 2 tbsp Dunn’s River Caribbean Barbecue Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Pat tofu dry and brush with oil.
  2. Sprinkle BBQ seasoning on both sides.
  3. Grill or pan-fry for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Serve with salad or in a wrap.


Tip: Sprinkle the seasoning on chips, corn on the cob, grilled seafood, or even roasted nuts for a spicy snack!
